Profex POS
Hong Kong F&B chains: card terminals, the Octopus reader and six delivery platforms, unified into one till
Challenge
A busy restaurant takes orders at the counter, by QR and from half a dozen delivery apps, while customers pay by Octopus, card or wallet. Every platform and terminal had its own device and portal, all reconciled by hand at day-end.
Solution
We integrated BBMSL and KPay card-present terminals and the Octopus 3.0 reader (deduct, add-value and settlement), plus WeChat Pay and Alipay. We wired six delivery platforms (foodpanda, Keeta, OpenRice, Deliveroo, Uber Eats, HKTVmall) so orders and takings land in the kitchen and reconcile into a single day-end. Receipt and label printers, the cash drawer and the KDS all run off the same system.
Tenant Management System
A Hong Kong property operator: smart locks, IoT utility meters and automatic rent reconciliation in one platform
Challenge
A landlord running several buildings juggled physical keys, walked the units to read water, power and gas meters by hand, and matched incoming bank and WeChat payments to tenants manually.
Solution
We integrated TTLock/Sciener smart locks (OAuth2, encrypted credentials, remote unlock and battery monitoring), an MQTT gateway pulling readings from smart meters over LoRa, NB-IoT, RS485 and 4G, and a bank-SMS webhook that parses each payment message and auto-matches it to the right tenant's invoice.
Green Wiser
EV charging operator — multi-vendor chargers (Keba, ABB, Schneider), BBMSL & mPay payments, mobile app & ops console
Challenge
EV chargers from different manufacturers each implement the OCPP protocol a little differently, and one vendor's firmware didn't implement OCPP 1.6 correctly, blocking reliable start/stop and metering. The payment gateway, mobile app, and operator console all needed to share one live source of truth.
Solution
We built an OCPP 1.6/2.0.1 server that normalises the differences between charger vendors and works around non-compliant firmware, so every unit behaves consistently to the rest of the platform. Real-time telemetry flows over WebSocket into a cloud-native, serverless backend, where the BBMSL & mPay payment gateways, the driver app, and the operator console all read and write through one integrated source of truth.
